I see pregnancy, birth, and the growth of a family as one of the most beautiful things about humanity. As an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) and Registered Nurse, I am privileged to help women and their partners make these experiences as positive and healthy as possible. I began as a neonatal nurse in 2007 and continue to fall in love with my job more and more every year. I am honored to offer support to women and families across the Seacoast of New Hampshire, Massachusetts and surrounding areas.

Jen is an incredible resource for all aspects of newborn and infant care! As a first time mom, I’m so grateful to have her support and would highly recommend her to my friends and family with new babies.

Jen was an instrumental part in my successful nursing journey. After many unexpected complications giving birth, I felt a lot of pressure at the hospital to formula feed my daughter because she was so small. Jen has such a calming presence and made this stressful time feel so much more manageable as she helped me figure out how to set myself up for breastfeeding success. Jen taught me different positions to make nursing more comfortable for me and my baby, how to get my sleepy baby to latch, and was always there to assure me I was doing the right thing as I navigated my way through unknown territory. When I returned to work, Jen was a great support in answering my questions about how to increase my supply or how to talk to daycare providers about paced feeding. If you're looking for a calm, knowledgeable, and experienced lactation consultant, I highly recommend Jen Yager!

Jen Yager was an integral part of my breastfeeding journey. Her calm demeanor consistently reminded me to pause, take a breath and keep going.  She was always available for questions & advice and was helpful beyond measure. I can certainly attribute part of my success in breastfeeding to Jen’s expert instruction. As an added bonus she is a genuinely wonderful and compassionate person. She truly loves what she does and seems to revel in the joy of making a difference in the lives of mothers & babies. Thank you, Jen. I couldn’t have done it without you!
